Jesus Cares, a ministry of Living Faith Lutheran Church, welcomes people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to a worship event this Easter Sunday at Living Faith in Midlothian, Texas. The first service of its kind in Ellis County, Jesus Cares events were developed by Jesus Cares Ministries (a nationwide organization with 170+ ministry locations) as monthly simplified services where all are welcome, but which are specifically designed and geared for those with special needs.

Jesus Cares activities include hearing a devotion and Bible lesson, singing and playing music, praying, enjoying snacks and crafts, and having fun. The first worship event will be held Easter Sunday, April 4, at noon at Living Faith, 1590 W FM 875, Suite 400, Midlothian. After Easter, the group will meet every second Sunday of the month at noon or as planned by the group. Updates will be communicated through the private Facebook group, Jesus Cares Ministry at Living Faith Lutheran.
